As part of long term agenda to establish “military form of government,” combat likely unrest following total economic collapse.

The Washington Post today reports on plans to station 20,000 more U.S. troops inside America for purposes of “domestic security” from September 2011, an expansion of Northcom’s militarization of the country in preparation for potential civil unrest following a total economic collapse or a mass terror attack.

“The U.S. military expects to have 20,000 uniformed troops inside the United States by 2011 trained to help state and local officials respond to a nuclear terrorist attack or other domestic catastrophe, according to Pentagon officials,” reports the Post.

“Domestic emergency deployment may be “just the first example of a series of expansions in presidential and military authority,” or even an increase in domestic surveillance, said Anna Christensen of the ACLU’s National Security Project. And Cato Vice President Gene Healy warned of “a creeping militarization” of homeland security.”

As Alex Jones exposed back in the late 1990’s, U.S. troops have been training for this eventuality for a considerable amount of time. During numerous urban warfare drills that Jones attended and reported on, troops were trained to raid, arrest and imprison U.S. citizens in detention camps as well as taking over public buildings and running checkpoints. During role playing exercises, actors playing prisoners would scream “I’m an American citizen, I have rights” as they were being dragged away by troops.

The contention that the troops will merely help “recovery efforts” after a major catastrophe is contradicted by the fact that Northcom itself, in a September 8 Army Times article, said the first wave of the deployment, which was put in place on October 1st at Fort Stewart and at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, would be aimed at tackling “civil unrest and crowd control”.

After a controversy arose surrounding the admissions made in the Army Times article, Northcom retracted the claim but conceded that both lethal and non-lethal weaponry traditionally used in crowd control and riot situations would still be used in the field.

We Are Change Colorado has now become aware that another group, Unconventional Action, is planning on being violent at the DNC protests.  Violence is a broad term.  Some argue that property damage is violent, others might tell you it sends a message.  To most of the Truth Alliance and We Are Change Colorado activists, there is no message to property damage and is in fact, a form of violent behavior.  In the eyes of the law, property damage is completely, without debate, illegal.

To make the long story short, Unconventional Action seems to be open about their plans for the DNC.  Their website, which can be found here: http://www.unconventionalaction.org/ has one link which is pretty disturbing.

Under the link, “The Strategies: How We Win,”  a section titled: Denver: Disrupt the DNC, clearly outlines for “Anarchists and Anti-Authoritarians” to “join (them) in Denver, Colorado, August 24th-28th as (they) engage in coordinated Direct Actions against the Democratic National Convention, its corporate sponsors, and the military/police occupation of public space.”

The sight of Blackhawk helicopters scouring the skies over Denver on Monday and Tuesday night looked like a scene from a movie. Instead, it was an anti-terror drill that surprised and concerned residents, who had not been warned about the exercise.

The choppers came in low, right on top of the buildings in downtown Denver, creating plenty of noise and attracting loads of concerned looks.

“It looked to me like they were Blackhawks and they were trying to practice dropoffs and pickups,” said Baerbel Merrill, who saw the Blackhawks.

The drill was a multi-agency operation involving special forces in the military and Denver police.

“It actually prepares us for the global war on terrorism, to go into an urban environment,” said Lt. Steve Ruh, a spokesman for the U.S. Special Operations Command. “It will help us respond better if the need calls for us to come in.”

 The Department of Homeland Security’s National Exercise Program (NEP), the nation’s overarching homeland security exercise program, will conduct a combined exercise in May 2008 that will test hurricane preparedness planning, assess federal interagency Continuity of Operations (COOP) procedures, exercise a response to terrorist attacks in Washington State and test Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA).These linked exercises are referred to as National Level Exercise 2-08 (NLE 2-08).

The exercise takes place May 1-8 with a wide range of participants from federal and state departments and agencies.NLE 2-08 will consolidate into a single exercise the following:Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) National Continuity Programs’ (NCP) Eagle Horizon 2008;U.S. Northern Command’s (USNORTHCOM) Ardent Sentry 08 exercise; FEMA’s Disaster Operation’s Hurricane Preparedness Exercise (HPE); The Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program and Army Service Response Force tests for emergency plans, procedures, skills and equipment in response to an accidental chemical agent release.

The overall exercise scenario unfolds as a Category 4 hurricane threatens the National Capitol Region (NCR) while events in the Pacific Northwest include terrorist attacks involving weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in the state of Washington and an accidental release of a chemical agent at chemical stockpile facility in Umatilla, Oregon.The scenario culminates with the hurricane’s imminent landfall combined with a credible terror threat to the NCR which causes the federal government to invoke continuity plans and capabilities.Planning for NLE 2-08 began in late spring 2007 and is designed to achieve the following objectives:Exercise and evaluate federal government continuity capabilities and management of emergencies from dispersed locations.

PORTLAND, Ore — The largest counterterrorism exercise in U.S. history has begun with a bright flash and a loud bang meant to simulate a dirty bomb attack.

It was done shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday in Portland.

Dozens of federal, state and local agencies are staging the weeklong exercise to test the nation’s readiness for a terrorist attack. A simulated bomb was set off at a staging area near the Portland International Raceway. The exercise is well away from downtown Portland to avoid tying up the city.

Similar exercises are being staged in Arizona and Guam. The exercise wraps up on Friday.

This is an urgent advisory notice from concerned citizens of Oregon and Washington about an upcoming U.S. Joint Forces Command emergency management exercise known as NOBLE RESOLVE 07-2 that will simulate terrorism or disaster scenarios in the Lower Columbia River Basin between Aug. 20th and Aug 24th, 2007.

NOBLE RESOLVE 07-2 was designed and will be directed by U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) and the Department of Homeland Security. We are aware of no public notice concerning this exercise, but preliminary investigation has revealed that Oregon National Guard officials and federal officials will conduct the drill.
