This morning, Seattle Post-Intelligencer reporter Ron Schott posted a rant on his blog complaining about seeing 9/11 truthers littering the streets of Seattle.
Schott launched all manner of ad hominem insults, claiming truth activists were “out of there mind” (actual spelling) and encouraged his readers to give them the finger - Geraldo style - if they saw them during today’s anniversary events.
Schott recycled the usual garbage in claiming that 9/11 truth hurts the family members and the first responders.
Low and behold, about 10 minutes after I posted a response on the comments section, the Seattle-Post Intelligencer removed the blog posting altogether.
Here’s the cache shot from Google, but if you click on the link you’ll see it’s been removed completely from the website.

So I guess 9/11 truthers aren’t so “out of there mind” after all Ron, and that your illiterate screed was quickly memory-holed by the PI editors after I vehemently debunked your childish temper-tantrum.
Leave a comment on Ron’s blog and ask him if he enjoyed the slap on the wrist he got from his bosses after engaging in another ad hominem smear attack on 9/11 truth and the victim’s families and first responders that the 9/11 truth movement has supported all along.
Below is my original response to Ron’s rant before the whole page got deleted.

Hey Ron,
If you’d bothered to remove your head from your backside for 5 minutes and done some Google searching, you’d realize that the 9/11 truth movement has done more for victims families, first responders and other 9/11 heroes than the government ever did.
Indeed, it was a government cover-up of the toxic dust scandal in the very hours after 9/11 that continues to kill 9/11 heroes to this day - survivors who have been completely abandoned by the government as they suffer through their last days on artificial lungs and breathing apparatus.
Scores of 9/11 heroes, family members and first responders are now part of the 9/11 truth movement, so in giving them the finger you - and not the demonstrators in Seattle and New York today - are disgracing the memory of the victims and their families.
After being confronted with the facts, Ron Apologizes:
My Apology: To Real Truth Seekers
This morning I posted a blog that contained an ill-informed and off-the-cuff observation of an activist group that I did not fully understand.
I take full responsibility for my post and must reiterate that I am in no way connected to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, except for the fact that my blog is hosted on their site.
The posting of my blog was a spur of the moment decision that I now know was done without forethought and without proper research.
Now, through research and with the prompting of the over 52 obscene comments I received from anonymous posters, I realize that my generalization of the activists was harsh and unwarranted.
Groups like 911truth.org and many others are not the normal “9/11 was a conspiracy” people you see ranting on the street, but rather are grassroots organizations working toward full-disclosure of the facts surrounding the atrocities of Sept. 11, 2001. It was my uneducated assumptions that tied these groups to the outlying activists that I lumped them in with and I apologize for that.
I would like to personally apologize to Paul Joseph Watson of PrisonPlanet.com, Patrick St James, and John Karlo of We Are Seattle Change, as they were the only respondents to leave their names. I invite any of those men to contact me regarding future information about their organizations and the work they are doing to benefit those affected by the events of Sept. 11.
From this point forward I will continue to write about issues relevant to Seattle singles and will leave politics alone.
Thank you,
Ron Schott

Let’s make sure we always stay on top of this. We need to remind main stream media that wearechange and 9/11 truth are both organizations that wear mainly started by families that either lost loved ones in WTC towers or families that currently loosing loved ones (first responders). Going to NYC and seeing this with my own eyes is really a life changing event for me. I would encourage Schott the gentleman whom published the blog and retracted his statement yesterday to help the 9/11 First Responders by either donating through “wearechangeseattle” or “directly to the families”.
Kind Regards,
John
Well, his retraction/apology is a step in the right direction. However his comment, regarding the group of 911 Truth advocates his outlined, “are not the normal “9/11 was a conspiracy” people you see ranting on the street,”
Ranting in the street? Does that include bull-horning at elected officials that “911 was an inside job!”(could that be classified as ranting?) So what is he really saying? That 911 Truth people who keep a low profile are okay?
Too bad this writer will go back to his singles columns and not take up the 911 Truth cause, or at least blog an objective article on the evidence that has been uncovered by 911 Truth researchers.

Yeah, I agree with Brian. I am sorry, but the people this blogger was writing about are the ones on the streets. The truthers on the streets are the ones spreading the truth, telling people that “hey, we have a problem here…something isn’t right…please look for yourself!”
The true distinction, I think, should be maybe the difference between those who are seeking the truth (and present questions, challenges, try to demonstrate discrepancies, and spend time getting witnesses and professional analysis) versus those who try to present what they think is the truth. In actuality there are very few truthers trying to present what they think is the truth (conspiracy theories).
